WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner, ref 16800, circa 1982, 42mm including crown guards x 48mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with knurled uni-directional dive bezel, stainless steel Oyster bracelet with tuna can style clasp and diver's extension, original matte black dial with luminous painted indices, date aperture at 3, 27J cal 3035, s#7122302, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 93150 with 580 end links, date code to clasp OP11 which is much later than the original bracelet, inside back ref 16800.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide on rotor, light fine scratches and wear to brass on leading edge of plates; nearly flawless dial; excellent hands with light surface spotting; polished case shows light wear, light dings on backs of lugs and case sides, crack through insert next to the pearl; bracelet shows little wear, very light stretch, clasp is a much newer replacement dating to 2006; original signed crown shows light wear, several light dings to top, good threads; sapphire crystal with light edge chattering; resealed for auction.
